Umbrella

I’ve eyed off Blunt umbrellas for quite some time, and seeing the collaboration with Merry People, how could I resist! It is a precision piece of equipment and the quality is second to none. You wouldn’t be without it in rain, BUT folded up, it is very large. Photo attached beside a cheap umbrella THE SAME SIZE when opened. Unfortunately this is not an everyday carry item for “just in case” it rains.

I’ve been dying to replace my much-loved yellow metro Blunt brolly since my 1st grader accidentally fell & sat on it years ago (sadly Blunt has no defence against boisterous 7-year-olds). But somehow never got round to it. This one was irresistible! The gorgeous colours and the combo with my Merry People Karen Walker boots make rainy commuter days cheerful, completely cozy & DRY. Blunt is an awesome umbrella especially in windy conditions where no other umbrella I’ve ever owned does anything but turn up its toes (spokes). The fact that you never risk poking someone’s eye out with a pointy spoke is another. Just don’t give it to your 7yo to play with.
