Hi! I’m Dani. I grew up on a dairy farm in Gippsland wearing gumboots. Fast forward to 2014, while working a corporate job, I couldn’t find comfy, stylish, all-weather boots. That inspired me to create Merry People. I hope our boots bring comfort and a little extra joy to your everyday adventures!

The perfect everyday rain boot. Our best-selling Bobbi Boots blend fashion and function with a quality natural rubber outer and a cushy 4mm neoprene lining. Gifting Season Extended Returns

We want you, or the gift receiver, to be in love with this purchase. If the size or colour isn't quite right or if they need to be returned for another reason, please let us know and we can offer you an exchange or a full refund.

We have extended the returns window from our usual 30 days. Orders placed from the start of November to 24th December 2024 will be eligible for an extended returns period of 90 days.

We will cover the cost of you returning the boots to us if you're in Australia or New Zealand. Rest of world return shipping at your cost (we will send out your exchange size free of charge).

Womens and Mens Sizing Recommendations

Bobbi boots run true to size. We suggest you go with your standard shoe size. If you wear thick socks, then measure your foot wearing the thicker socks. Send us an email if you are unsure about sizing.

We recommend the inner sole of the Bobbi boot to be around the same length as your foot. The neoprene lining around your foot will soften over time.

The boots should be slightly snug to start as the natural rubber will soften with wear. The insole is removable which can add about half a size when removed, or you can add your own footbed or orthotic.

Superb!
My kids love the song “I love my shoes” which is what I sang proudly when I got my lovely new boots! I’ve had so many compliments from friends. They’re comfortable, keep my feet warm and dry and they look fantastic. I have very slim, small feet so I ordered a size 3. They fit snug, I can wear slightly thicker socks for colder days and feel on the tighter side but doable.
Normal socks, perfect.
I’ll be buying another colour next auntmn!

Perfect winter/fall/soggy spring shoes
These are wonderful boots- I love the neoprene lining that keeps the warmer than most rain boots and also is soft at the top so it doesn’t bother my leg if I don’t have socks on.
I slip these on for dog walks and snow shoveling in the early morning and feel warm and stable with the good tread. Love love love these.
