Hi! I’m Dani. I grew up on a dairy farm in Gippsland wearing gumboots. Fast forward to 2014, while working a corporate job, I couldn’t find comfy, stylish, all-weather boots. That inspired me to create Merry People. I hope our boots bring comfort and a little extra joy to your everyday adventures!

I am now on my third pair of Bobbi boots and it's lovely to have a change with the new chestnut colour. I love the soft rubber which makes for good comfort and the soles have a good grip on the mud which is everywhere at the moment.

I was getting very bored of sitting at work all day in wet shoes - its a half-hour walk each way, and we get a lot of rain in the south west…
Anyway - these are great. Waterproof, comfortable. I’d been a bit nervous about the fit, because I think of my feet as fairly wide - but they are ideal. Feel a bit stiff around the ankle when I first put them on, but that tends to soften up once I start walking.

Definitely a must for dog walks! I find all wellies far to big around my legs, so rarely wear them. These are a perfect, very comfy and toasty warm alternative. Love the colour too 😍
