Hi! I’m Dani. I grew up on a dairy farm in Gippsland wearing gumboots. Fast forward to 2014, while working a corporate job, I couldn’t find comfy, stylish, all-weather boots. That inspired me to create Merry People. I hope our boots bring comfort and a little extra joy to your everyday adventures!

Great boots in fab colours. Can be dressed up or down. I've walked miles in them pushing my toddler in the buggy. I don't mind getting them wet/dirty like my other boots as they are easy to clean. I suppose that's the point of a welly boot 😂

After purchasing a pair of Red Bobbi boots for my partner for Christmas 2024, I decided I had to get a pair for an upcoming clamping trip. The quality and feel of the boot is amazing. So comfy and stylish, for walking the dogs or doing the school run, feet stay dry and comfy. I do have to wear long socks as they have rubbed my legs a little at the top but that was only at the beginning

I’d had my eye on some Bobbi boots for a while, and had tried some on in my size in a shop, but wanted to select from the full range of colours so purchased online. I used the foot measuring guide just to be sure before ordering and it confirmed my usual size. They’re so comfy and weather appropriate for us Brits… like any new boots they need a bit of wearing in, and I find my thinner socks ride down a little in these, so thicker/sports style socks are best for staying up round my ankle. Definitely worth the purchase as errands in these are a breeze!
