Lochie Sandal | Men and Women's Sandals

We recommend selecting a size where the sandal’s footbed length is similar to your foot length. The straps, which feature three points of adjustability, allow for a secure and personalised fit for both men and women.

Lochie sandals are more secured, cushioned, and stylised than the average thong, flats, slide, or heels. Designed to bring a pop of colour to your everyday outfits, Lochie sandals are built for outdoor adventures, urban excursions, and all day comfort.

Flats, slides, and heels typically aren’t made with the same durable materials that can keep up with any challenge you take on. From playdates with the little ones in the garden to hikes on the beach to snap the perfect picture, Lochie sandals are built to keep up with style.

Unlike many thongs or slides, the Lochie comes with adjustable straps that secure across three points on your foot. These features give you maximum adjustability for increased comfort and security while wearing your special sandals.

With a strap across the back of your ankle and two more over the tops of your feet, Lochie flat sandals won’t slip or slide off easily. Slides, flats, and heels usually only have one strap across the top of your foot, making it easy for them to fall off or slide around during the day.

The Lochie is a better choice over slides and flats in events that require more movement–at times when you need the security of the straps, the flexibility of the sole, and the durability of the sandal as a whole. Lochie Sandals are an ideal shoe for active everyday wear, sport events, outdoor activities, and water adventures.

On these occasions, slides might simply slip off or fail to give your feet the support they need. We offer all day comfort with our sandals, heels on the other hand can cause pain and discomfort when worn for extended periods of time. With your Merry People sandals, you don’t have to worry about your shoes coming off or feeling uncomfortable after extended periods of staying on your feet.

The Lochie is also the more fashionable option versus slides, with its stylish features fit for a variety of casual or sport occasions. Its sleek design and colour palette make Lochie Sandals a great match for a wide variety of fashion styles! You can pair it with beachwear, a pair of denim jeans and a t-shirt, a sundress, or even a summer festival frock.

The Black sandals work with any outfit and are fit for those who want minimalist footwear to complement their sharp wardrobe.

Featuring our signature natural rubber and neoprene materials, Lochie sandals have been carefully designed with our Bobbi Boot attributes in mind: waterproof, comfortable, practical, and versatile for men and women.

• Three adjustable, cushioned straps for a comfy, customised fit
• Textured, sweat-wicking footbed for breathability and grip
• Moulded arch support and heel cushion
• Flexible, lightweight and slip resistant outsole
• Durable, anticorrosive metal hardware
• 100% vegan

We’ve designed the Lochie to be the ideal all-day-wear sandal. By including a soft neoprene underlay, Lochie stop any rubbing or irritation in its tracks.

We also know how easy it is to slip in your sandals during long walks on the beach, sidewalk strolls, and jaunts in the garden. To reduce slippage, we’ve embedded a diamond texture into our Sugarcane EVA footbed that wicks away sweat.

We’ve also used high-quality, sustainable materials including FSC certified natural rubber, recycled PET textiles and a sugarcane EVA footbed to tread softly on the earth.

Lochie sandals can be worn as sport sandals because they have a very low heel and platform, making them feel similar to wearing flats. Lovers of our Tully ankle boot will love Lochie sandals because it has the same chunky tread design but with a lower heel to give you better durability, grip, and style than a traditional flat sandal.

These sandals are also versatile in their styling. Men and women alike will love our range of colours.

These men and womens original sandals with low heels are limited release exclusives, which means you can stand out against the trends with timelessly fashionable, functional, and unique footwear.

The style and functionality of Lochie sandals make it a suitable go-to for various activities and occasions, such as:

• Everyday wear: The Lochie is great for running errands at the shop, walking the dog, or going for neighbourhood strolls. Leave your pair by the door so you’re ready to pop out the door anytime!
• Casual occasions: Pair your sandals with a cute pair of jeans or a nice dress for a stylish yet laid-back outfit to wear to more casual gatherings.
• Trekking: The Lochie is comfortable, flexible, and durable, and can give you support during an active trek. Its adjustable strap keeps it tight on your foot, so you can wear this sandal for a short and easy hike!
• Camping: Your sandals are great summer camping footwear, secure for treading camping grounds, easy to slip on and off for moving in and out of the tent, and airy enough for cool summer nights.
• Water activities: The Lochie makes for a solid pair of beach sandals, with the grip and traction to keep you steady on slippery surfaces and the padded straps to stay on your feet even with the waves. It can help protect your feet in rocky or muddy areas!
• Music festivals: The Lochie is a chic sandal that can get you through jumping to the music and dancing with your friends at music festivals and club scenes.

Merry People Sandals are a C width, rather than the B fitting of the Merry People Boots, and fit true to size using European sizing.

The Lochie is one of our most adjustable shoes to date, with three adjustable straps–one around the ankle and two across the tops of your feet. This ensures a more comfortable than standard flats and slides, accommodating fit for men and women.

If you are uncertain about your foot size, we recommend measuring your foot or the inner sole of a favourite shoe and comparing those measurements to those on our handy size chart, available on our product page.
