Living on the Oregon Coast and all the fun weather that comes along with it, these boots are the best I've ever had! The cherry color is beautiful and I wear them with everything. If you live in the PNW and live to hike out walk the beach, I highly recommend Merry People for your boot needs!

I went back and forth for weeks on ordering these boots. Could I justify the cost for something I didn't really need? Would I just end up returning them because of my problem feet? Would they end up in the back of the closet with all the other shoes I've purchased but never wear? But despite those questions, I couldn't stop looking. So I finally picked my color, put them in my cart, hit Apple Pay, and pulled the trigger.
The answers to my questions are: 1) silly question because I DID need them; 2) no, my feet are happy; and 3) absolutely not!
I am so crazy in love with these boots! The rubber must be infused with good vibes and joy because seriously, they just make me smile (and I've had a really bad couple of years, so that's saying a lot). I've been test-driving them at home, and every time I pass a mirror I check them out and smile. Sounds silly I know (especially for a 62yo woman), but they bring me a childlike joy. Love the Seafoam color, too....it's going to be so versatile!
On the practical side, these are clearly quality boots. Beautifully made, solid, heavy, and so comfortable. They are also roomy enough to accommodate my orthotics. Initially I was concerned they might be a tiny bit snug, but after wearing them around the house for a while they seem to relax and adapt to my feet. (For reference, I usually wear a 8.5W, and the 39 is a great fit). The neoprene around the ankles adds just the right padding and comfort. Haven't gotten them wet yet, but I'm lookingā¦

When I opened the package and saw my bootsā¦ WOW! The colour was better, richer, seafoamier than I had imagined. I live in then whether Iām wearing jeans, skirts or dresses. So comfy! Size 39 fit perfectly š©µ
