Hi! I’m Dani. I grew up on a dairy farm in Gippsland wearing gumboots. Fast forward to 2014, while working a corporate job, I couldn’t find comfy, stylish, all-weather boots. That inspired me to create Merry People. I hope our boots bring comfort and a little extra joy to your everyday adventures!

I purchased this model as it said the opening was wider, however given my disabilities I can not, however hard I try, get my foot into these - will have to give them away as they are useless for me

I recently purchased a pair of Andie Boots in Wave Blue, and they really made me smile when they arrived. I walk the dog 3 times a day in all weather, and since my last pair split, I was looking for some boots that were comfortable to walk in and practical in all weather (plus easy to get on and off). These boots ticked all the boxes.
The boots did develop a little problem in that the loop at the back came off. But I spoke to their Support Team, who were caring and listened without judgment and sorted out the problem swiftly. I can't praise them enough. Thank you.

Undeniably lovely to look at, your boots are not for me. The binding hurts my shins and is still felt through two layers of socks and fleece trousers. I upsized to see if it helped, but no, and now my foot slops about inside. I've unsuccesfully tried two styles to no avail. My ankles are not fat, the binding hits my shin bone each step and leaves a welt. Sorry.

Have always bought Hunters but they cracked after 2 years and my feel were always cold. These are lovely. Only criticism is that the top on the boot takes some getting used to as my legs felt a bit bruised. Had to wear thicker socks which helped. Good grip in the mud. I would recommend sizing up. I am normally a 9 but bought the 19 as the EU sizes were different to the uk ones. So far so good.

I wanted something that looked cheerful and a bit different. These fit the bill. I’ve only worn them out once but they were comfortable and warmer than normal wellies. They do get noticed.
I would say that they perhaps come up a little small and a wee but narrow so I can’t wear my thick socks with them, but then they do seem warm enough with normal socks. I have to wear long socks, or trousers tucked in, or the top of the boot rubs into my shin when walking. Overall I’m happy though!
