Hi! I’m Dani. I grew up on a dairy farm in Gippsland wearing gumboots. Fast forward to 2014, while working a corporate job, I couldn’t find comfy, stylish, all-weather boots. That inspired me to create Merry People. I hope our boots bring comfort and a little extra joy to your everyday adventures!

I received my black Tully boots about a month ago and I quite literally haven’t worn another pair of shoes since - feeling a bit sorry for my trust Blundstones! Super comfortable, warm, look great dressed for city life and a country walk. Mine are covered in mud and probably need a clean, but really shows how much use I’ve had out of them already. A wonderful wonderful pair of boots!

As someone with rheumatoid arthritis, comfort and warmth is paramount. In the past I have been unable to find a comfortable and wam welly, I've spent hundreds and hundreds on pairs that I can't wear as they are terribly made and horrible to wear. These ones on the other hand are the complete opposite, I don't want to take them off! I have never found a pair of good wellies until now. I am over the moon and can't wait to buy more colours and some for all the family! Thank you for designing such an amazing pair of wellies!

I was over the moon with anticipation for these boots and they delivered to me sooner than the expected delivery date! They dont feel like they need any breaking in tbh, but i decided to for 2 days prior to wearing them in the snow. They are very sturdy and while they are a tad bit on the heavier side as far as boots go, the material is absolutely amazing and feel like great quality. I'm living for the traction of the outsole. I feel very confident in the snow knowing my boots have such a good grip. And don't even get me started on the insulation! Your feet are absolutely defended from the cold in these!! As far as insole support goes, these are the comfiest pair I own as of now (and I own 5+pairs of boots)! I immediately recommended this brand to my friends looking for good quality, stylish, weather proof boots.
