Lochie Size & Fit

Most customers find our Lochies are true to size; however, we always recommend checking the size guide to be safe, as sizing can vary slightly across different styles. We suggest comparing your foot length to the insole measurement and allowing around 0.5–1cm of extra space for the best fit.

We also offer a footwear measuring tool on our product pages called Volumental, which allows you to scan your foot using a piece of paper to help find your best fit.

Our sandals are designed with a C-width, sitting in between our fits — slightly wider than our B-width Bobbi and Tully boots, but not as wide as the D-width Oberon boot.

The Lochie features 3 adjustable straps on each shoe to give you maximum adjustability and comfort. Loosen or tighten the straps to create your perfect fit! 

All Merry People products are unisex and designed to be worn by anyone. Our current size range runs from EU 36–45, with availability varying depending on the style and colour.

Our sandals feature a sugarcane EVA footbed with built-in arch support and heel cushion.

We used the profile of our boot outsoles for a sturdy and classic Merry People look, which makes them a mid-weight shoe.

We’ve introduced Volumental's innovative foot-scanning technology to our products. This app integrates 3D scanning and intelligent algorithms to provide accurate foot measurements.

Using the app is straightforward:

• Pick Your Product: On your phone or desktop, head to the product page of the boot you would like to find your size in.
• Tap Volumental: Select the Volumental button on the product page (On phones, you’ll be prompted to allow the camera; on desktops, you’ll see a QR code to scan) as shown below.

• Find Your Size: Follow the app’s prompts to compare with other brands and scan for your Lochie size!

No problem! We offer free returns and exchanges for all Australian and New Zealand customers, so you can easily swap sizes if the fit isn’t right.

Alternatively, you can order multiple sizes to compare at home, then return the pair that doesn’t fit for a full refund.
