Bobbi Ankle Boot

Hubby and I recently went to #AusGP in Melbourne. It was windy, rainy, and muddy but our Merry People boots kept our feet warm and dry! We were so impressed that we’re planning to use them in our upcoming holiday in South Island, New Zealand. There will be lots of walking in different terrains involved.

I do wish you’d come up with a light weight version. 😊

LOVE my fuchsia pink bobbi's! I'd originally got the Violet Blue despite always being a Pink girly, because I wanted to try something different.

Thankfully the Violets were a bit too tight so I exchanged them for a size up and the fuchsia! The exchange was seamless! I did have to size up from my usual size (37 up to 38) because the boots are tight and I wouldn't have been able to wear thick socks.

You definitely have to wear crew socks or long socks otherwise the front of the boots rub against your shins. Particularly when walking up hill. They take a few wears to break in but when they're broken in, they are so fun and comfy to wear!

After retiring my Blundstones, I was looking for another ankle boot for vineyard and winery work. I found I needed more support for my knees & back, more waterproof, and lower maintenance than my Blunnies could provide. It’s been just a couple of weeks, but I’m in love with the color and comfort of my new Merry People boots! I can wear thicker socks on windy days and they’re not too tight. They seem to be the right mix or sturdy and lightweight. Hopefully they can keep up in the cellar come harvest!

I’ve been looking for a pair of short boots to wear in the garden and walk the dogs for a while now, and when I saw an advertisement for these boots, it grabbed my attention due to the range of colours and sizes.

I bought a pair of chocolate and black boots, they fit very well and are comfortable to wear all day. I love the soft lining and the ease of putting them on and taking off.
