Orders

Once you place an order, it will be held for 30 minutes, giving you time to make changes if needed. You’ll find the option to edit your order on the checkout confirmation page right after your purchase is complete.

During this 30-minute window, you can:

• Change the size or colour of your item
• Update the shipping address
• Add items to your order

During this 30-minute window, you can’t:

• Change the shipping service (e.g. from standard to express)
• Withdraw your order once it's placed through this function (EU customers see ‘Cancel your order’ below)
• Make alterations to your Click & Collect order

To cancel your order or if you are experiencing any issues updating your order, please contact us immediately at support@merrypeople.com. Once your order starts processing at our warehouse, no changes or cancellations can be made.

European customers will see a withdrawal feature during the 30-minute order editing period 

Once you place your order, you will receive an order confirmation email that will provide your order number. You can use this link to find your order number. Simply log in with the email address used when making your purchase. 

After Order Placement: Once you've placed an order with Merry People, you'll receive an order confirmation email. Once the warehouse has fulfilled your order, you will receive an additional email with a unique tracking number and link. 

You can also locate your tracking number via this link. Just log in with the email address used when making your purchase. Please note that the tracking details will only appear once the warehouse has fulfilled your order. 

• In Transit: Your order is on the move. It could be travelling through various postal hubs en route to you.
• Out for Delivery: Your order is with the delivery agent and will be delivered to your address soon.
• Delivered: Your order has arrived at its delivery destination. 
• Exceptions/Delays: Sometimes, unforeseen circumstances like weather conditions or logistic issues may cause delays.

1. Check the Tracking Information: Often, the carrier's tracking information will provide updates or reasons for any delay.
2. Contact the Carrier: If the delay is extended or if the tracking status is unclear, contact the carrier directly for more information.
3. Reach Out to Us: If you're unable to resolve the issue with the carrier or if you have concerns about your order, our Customer Service team is here to assist. Just send us an email at support@merrypeople.com 

• Keep an eye on your email: We’ll send you any major updates regarding your shipment.
• Patience is key: Remember, most shipping delays resolve themselves within a few days.

We aim to pack and dispatch all online orders within 1–2 business days. Once your order has been sent, you’ll receive an email with a tracking number.

A few things to keep in mind:

• During busy periods, dispatch times may be longer.
• While we do our best to meet estimated shipping timelines, we can’t guarantee exact delivery dates. Delays with couriers—especially during peak times—are outside our control.
• We ship from Melbourne. For the most accurate delivery estimates to your area, check the Australia Post website.
• If your order is time-sensitive, we recommend choosing Express Shipping at checkout.
• If you’ve ordered a preorder item, it will ship within the estimated dispatch date listed on the product page.
