Hi! I’m Dani. I grew up on a farm in Gippsland wearing gumboots. Fast forward to 2014, while working a corporate job, I couldn’t find comfy, stylish, all-weather boots. That inspired me to create Merry People. I hope our boots bring comfort and a little extra joy to your everyday adventures!

Got my boots and put them straight to the test! Of course, after walking around the house to really decide if they fit my feet right. Definitely fit better with a thick sock to better hold my foot in place and add a bit of extra cushion. I have pretty sensitive feet as well as bunions so certain footwear can hit my nerves and cause immediate discomfort. Hiked a good distance and didn’t have any major discomfort. For brand new footwear my feet lasted longer than i expected. Can’t wait to continue to wear them around our property for the upcoming seasons

I bought a pair of these boots for my husband and son- in- law for Christmas and they both love them and have worn them around the farm most days since. They’re great for working in the paddocks in long grass, and of course for wet rainy days. Because they mould to your feet and difficult to remove at the end of the day (this is why they are so comfortable so no complaints there) we have bought a boot remover which is a wonderful pairing for these and the calf length boots which I have (hint hint Merry People this would be a great addition to your already amazing products)
I am however waiting patiently for a raspberry colour long boot to appear before purchasing the long boots for myself. I have the calf boots, the ankle boots and was gifted the clogs for Christmas. Love all of them and wear them for all different times and reason.
