Hi! I’m Dani. I grew up on a dairy farm in Gippsland wearing gumboots. Fast forward to 2014, while working a corporate job, I couldn’t find comfy, stylish, all-weather boots. That inspired me to create Merry People. I hope our boots bring comfort and a little extra joy to your everyday adventures!

The Andie Boot is a sleek, modern take on the classic slip-on gumboot. Perfect for the messiest of tasks and adventures, Andie features a 360° rubber outer, offering more coverage with 30mm extra height compared to our Bobbi Boot. Its wider opening makes it easy to slip on and off, and the chunky tread sole and arch support provides all-day comfort. Andie is ready for your merry and messy adventures!

We want you to be in love with your new purchase. If the size isn't quite right or if you’re not happy (for whatever reason), please let us know and we can offer you an exchange or full refund within 30 days of purchase.

We will cover the cost of you returning the boots to us if you're in Australia or New Zealand.

Rest of world return shipping at your cost (we will send out your exchange size free of charge).

Womens and Mens Sizing Recommendations

We recommend the inner sole of the Andie Boot to be around the same length as your foot. The neoprene lining around your foot will soften over time.

Andie boots run true to size. We suggest you go with your standard shoe size (don't order bigger for socks.) If you wear thick socks, then measure your foot wearing the thicker socks. Send us an email if you are unsure about sizing.

The boots should be slightly snug to start as the natural rubber will soften with wear. The insole is removable which can add about half a size when removed, or you can add your own footbed or orthotic.

Great boots
I bought these boots on the recommendation of my daughter who has 3 pairs! I did have to return as the size was not quite right, but within days I received a larger pair, which fit perfectly and are very comfortable. They are ideal for dog walking especially over muddy fields.

The most comfortable pair of shoes I own!
Love these wellies! They are the most comfortable pair of shoes I own! They are a good compromise in terms of height between ankle and mid calf wellies - I feel like they function the same as mid calf height wellies in term of keeping your feet and trousers warm, clean and dry! They are true to size, but they do not fit with the thick pair of sheep's wool socks I was planning with wear with them buuut the shoes are very warm even with normal socks so not disappointed with this! They look lovely with almost everything I have worn so far! I will definitely be buying more merry people wellies and have already recommended them to lots of people! Also very good customer service - I got very prompt and useful advise regarding sizing when I sent jn a query (I am a UK size 5 and half and I have bought size 5 wellies). Very happy with my purchase so far!
