A: Our community has been asking for a wide-fit boot for a while, and we wanted to deliver! While the Bobbi Boot (B-width) remains a favourite, Oberon offers a roomier D-width for anyone looking for a more generous fit.
We also noticed a gap for a rugged, versatile style that can take you from a muddy footy club to the local pub in comfort and confidence.
Q: How does Oberon compare to Bobbi?
A: Oberon and Bobbi share the same high-quality materials, 100% waterproofing, and slip/temperature ratings - so you get the same reliable performance you love in Bobbi.
The main differences? Oberon has a wider D-width fit, a squarer, slightly more rugged toe, and extra durability features like a dual-layer reinforced heel and toe, a hidden mudguard, and an anti-microbial spray. Basically, it’s designed for a roomier, tougher, all-weather feel while keeping that Merry DNA you know and love!

A: Oberon is a brand-new silhouette for Merry People, and with every new design, we take a thoughtful approach to manufacturing to reduce waste and make sure we get it right. Rather than releasing a full- or extended-size range straight away, we’re launching with a more focused selection based on early customer feedback. This helps us ensure that any future sizes deliver the same comfort, performance, and quality you expect - and that they’re genuinely loved when they land!
