Little Valley Alpaca Farm, Hunter Valley

Aptly described as an “Alpaca Oasis”, Little Valley Alpaca Farm is a rustic farm stay, glamping style.  Nestled in a secluded valley surrounded by bushland and (you guessed it) alpacas, you can satisfy your craving for the outdoors plus your penchant for a good meal, nice glass of wine, and a comfortable bed.

Mountain Top Farm House, Stony Chute

Located in the hinterlands of Byron Bay, the Farm House is a fully off the grid minimal farm style retreat, set on 15 acres of tranquil rural/rainforest with an abundance of birds and wildlife. The perfect stylish place to relax and recharge.

Looking for more unique accommodation in New South Wales and Victoria? Be sure to check out Riparide for stays around the East coast.

CABN Tiny Homes

Sleep amongst nature in one of CABN’s five tiny homes around South Australia. CABN’s ethos is about providing people with a means to disconnect from the crazy we have brought upon ourselves. Their completely off-grid, sustainable and eco-friendly tiny houses are set in some of Australia’s most stunning and stimulating landscapes.

Tomfoolery Wines, Barossa Valley

Nestled in the award-winning Barossa Valley, Tomfoolery not only makes fantastic wines, but offers a fully contained accommodation for a fun getaway from Adelaide. Located on a 20 acre winery, you can stroll through the vineyard, participate in the harvest, and enjoy all the amazing things the Barossa has to offer… including our gorgeous stockist Pulp & Thread

Coral Bay

Coral Bay is one of WA’s premier family destinations, perfect for large groups and solo travellers. It takes a bit more planning as campsites and accommodation is limited, but worth the wait - and the long drive north from Perth! Camp opposite the beach and walk down to the water for daily swims in Ningaloo Reef. Depending on when you go, swim with whale sharks and manta rays.  Year round, the reef is lush and accessible and a must-visit for WA locals.

Margaret River Retreat

South of Perth, Margaret River is a staple holiday destination for families and couples alike and Margaret River Retreat is the perfect resting place from which to explore your next wilderness adventure!  It features a mix of glamping belle tents and unique self-contained Studio accommodations. Perfect for exploring all the natural beauty the region has to offer!

Bonus: they are also a Merry People stockist!

Stradbroke Island, Brisbane

Stradbroke Island is an easy getaway from the hustle of Brisbane!

Minjerribah Camping has eight beachfront campgrounds; six are accessible by paved roads and offer powered and unpowered sites as well as 20 cabins and 50 Glamping Tents! They also offer beach camping for those looking for something a little more secluded and off the beaten track, which are only accessible by 4WD.

P.S., keep an eye on the staff member's feet as the team enjoys Merry People boots!

The Daintree

Much like Coral Bay, Daintree is a must visit for Queenslanders! Accommodation wise, there is something for everyone with absolute beach front sites, rainforest sites, and along the Daintree River at Daintree Village, - with a range of camping options including tents, RVs, campervans, caravans, cabins, powered and unpowered sites.

Looking for a lush romantic and bucket list experience? Check out the Daintree Eco Lodge, a sustainable and boutique accommodation nestled in the rainforest.

Huon Bush Retreats

Set amongst an extensive private habitat reserve just 50 min from Hobart, Huon Bush Retreats gets you deep into Tasmanian native forest.  This multi award winning, carbon positive retreat offers guests a choice of campgrounds, contemporary, self contained cabins, and deluxe teepees. Wake up to the sounds of native birds, then enjoy a walk along the five kilometres of interpreted walking tracks through rainforest, to a hidden waterfall or a mountain top.

Domescapes, Tamar Valley

40 minutes outside Launceston and nestled deep in the heart of the Tamar Valley Wine Route, this immersive accommodation experience is a must for any wine lovers or simply for those looking for a unique Tasmanian escape. Don't forget to visit our stockist Acreage on your way out of Launceston!

Please note, Domescapes is currently closed but reopening soon in August.

2.5 hours north of Hobart, Bicheno is a family-friendly seaside resort town full of natural wonders. See fairy penguins, go for a snorkel or glass bottom boat tour of the Governor Island Marine Reserve, or hike inland to see kangaroos, Tasmanian devils, and pelicans. There are free campsites and paid resorts and holiday parks for groups of all sizes!

Be sure to also stop in and visit our stockist Islander!

Nitmiluk (Katherine) Gorge

Located on the lands of the Jawoyn people, rock art sites dot Nitmiluk Park and dreaming stories bring the silent gorge walls to life. This is maybe the perfect place to reconnect to nature and restore the mind. The Nitmiluk Caravan Park is just a short walk to the gorge and all the serenity it offers, and it offers powered and unpowered sites, permanent tents, and chalets.

CrabClaw Island Resort

130km away from Darwin and nestled on the water’s edge of Bynoe Harbour, Crab Claw Island Resort is a relaxing escape from the everyday. The complex has elevated cabins connected by walkways through the trees and palm gardens; refreshing swimming pools; an elevated open restaurant with views across the harbour; boat ramp; wildlife and natural beauty galore. Come for the fishing, stay for the wildlife encounters!
