Hi! I’m Dani. I grew up on a farm in Gippsland wearing gumboots. Fast forward to 2014, while working a corporate job, I couldn’t find comfy, stylish, all-weather boots. That inspired me to create Merry People. I hope our boots bring comfort and a little extra joy to your everyday adventures!

I love the plum and neon Tully boots! I get compliments on them all the time. Great for walking the dog and the chunky heel means they look acceptable in semi-formal settings too.

I love these boots! So comfy and super cute! The binding around the top opening felt a bit weird at first, but you get used to it quickly as long as you wear long enough socks. I wore them on a lengthy bush walk and my socks only got ever so slightly sweaty at the toes! Hooray!

I was cautious to purchase these online without seeing then first or trying them on, but they were perfect when they arrived. They were soon put to the test while on holiday in New Zealand, playing around rivers, walking through puddles, rainy day walks - my feet stayed warm and completely dry the whole time. I didn't test them in the snow but I have no doubt I could have walked around in snow no worries.

I bought these for my youngest daughter-in-law ‘s birthday. She’s a teacher in a Forest School nursery so spends virtually all day outside with the children and mud seems to be a feature of their environment!
