Hi! I’m Dani. I grew up on a dairy farm in Gippsland wearing gumboots. Fast forward to 2014, while working a corporate job, I couldn’t find comfy, stylish, all-weather boots. That inspired me to create Merry People. I hope our boots bring comfort and a little extra joy to your everyday adventures!

The perfect everyday rain boot. Our best-selling Bobbi Boots blend fashion and function with a quality natural rubber outer and a cushy 4mm neoprene lining. Womens and Mens Sizing Recommendations

Bobbi boots run true to size. We suggest you go with your standard shoe size. If you wear thick socks, then measure your foot wearing the thicker socks. Send us an email if you are unsure about sizing.

We recommend the inner sole of the Bobbi boot to be around the same length as your foot. The neoprene lining around your foot will soften over time.

The boots should be slightly snug to start as the natural rubber will soften with wear. The insole is removable which can add about half a size when removed, or you can add your own footbed or orthotic.

Lovely boots!
I wanted to get a pair of bright pink ankle wellies for a while, so when these beauties dropped into my inbox, I bought a pair straight away.
They arrived really quickly and they weee the vivid fuschia that I was hoping for. At first I thought they were a bit snug. I’ve worn them in several walks now and they are SO comfy!

Has been wanting a pair for quite for awhile now, then when I saw the dark cherry for a pair, they are so soft & comfy to wear and true to size.
