Hi! I’m Dani. I grew up on a dairy farm in Gippsland wearing gumboots. Fast forward to 2014, while working a corporate job, I couldn’t find comfy, stylish, all-weather boots. That inspired me to create Merry People. I hope our boots bring comfort and a little extra joy to your everyday adventures!

Womens and Mens Sizing Recommendations

Bobbi boots run true to size. We suggest you go with your standard shoe size. If you wear thick socks, then measure your foot wearing the thicker socks. Send us an email if you are unsure about sizing.

We recommend the inner sole of the Bobbi boot to be around the same length as your foot. The neoprene lining around your foot will soften over time.

The boots should be slightly snug to start as the natural rubber will soften with wear. The insole is removable which can add about half a size when removed, or you can add your own footbed or orthotic.

My second pair
Just bought my second pair in pink for the spring.. Perfect comfortable boots for dog walking this time got my regular size as won’t be needing to wear thick socks during the warmer months. Gorgeous colour
I was very disappointed when Magenta went out of stock but when I saw these my eyes lit up. I bought my usual size as I want to wear them without thick socks. They're so comfortable. The violet ones were calling to me too, maybe for another day!

Lived up to my expectations
I bought these boots and immediately took them away for 5 days at a country music festival. They were brilliant! Comfy the whole time for days of dancing and washed off so easy when I got home. Can't wait to wear them this winter in Melbourne.
