I purchased this hat for rainy days at golf but as we haven't had any yet I've used it as a sun hat. I love the fit and the longer section at the back. The stings have their own pocket but I just let them hang down behind my head. It also folds nicely so I can store it in the pocket of my golf bag.
It is also versatile - I can wear it hiking or when on I'm on my ride on mower.
This hat checks all the boxes for me.

I have a larger than average head (58cm) so I'm wary of one-size-fits-most hats, but the online description says the hat circumference is 61cm so I thought it should be fine. However it was smaller than described, very tight and uncomfortable for me, the external crown circumference was 58cm when I measured it on my head. I made a bit more room by cutting out the adjustable fitting cord but it was still too tight and left a red mark on my forehead. I gave it to a friend who loves it but I'm disappointed for me as it is so hard to find nice rain hats, I loved the style and it seems very well made. If they made a larger size I would purchase again.

I love the idea of the Matilda Rain Hat as I am a HUGE fan of the boots.
Brought this for the days when the dog insists on her walk even though the weather is poor.
However, even though its an adjustable fit I still find the sizing a little bit on the small side. I take a 58 in hats and this is quite tight on me - I'm hoping with regular use it will give a little.

I love my new rain hat. We have been having lots of rain here and it has been put to good use. I have realised that it will make a great sun hat also so I carry it in my bag when I go out, rain or sunshine.
